Kells Tech Hub Launching January 2018

Kells Tech Hub will officially open its doors in January 2018. This fantastic new space aimed at tech start-ups in food, ag tech and fintech sectors comprises of 16,000 sq. ft. of space containing-

  • Hot desk centre to support start-ups,
  • Co-working facility with 64 desks and extensive access to meeting rooms, breakout spaces events and training rooms etc to support start-ups and SME’s
  • 13 new class partitioned offices to support start-ups & SME’s
  • New Kells Tech Innovation Lab to support New Product Development
  • New Global Channel-Market Research Hub to help connect start-ups and SME’s to global market opportunities
  • New light production, storage and distribution facilities and services to support Tech Hub clients
  • State of the art Business Conference and Showcase/Expo facilities to showcase start-ups & SME’s
  • Global Video Conferencing and meeting lab/suite to facilitate connecting start-ups and SME’s to global market opportunities
  • Flexible events, training and seminar spaces and multiple meeting rooms to support Tech Hub clients and facilitate networking and collaboration with state agencies, universities, suppliers, buyers, international channels partners etc
  • 128-seater state of the art conference centre / auditorium to deliver entrepreneurship training, mentoring and education that will support start-ups and SME’s who have the ambition to Go Global.
  • Free high-speed fibre broadband

The project was co-funded through the Rural Economic Development Zone initiative, Meath Enterprise and Meath County Council with the total investment expected to be close to €1 million once completed.

Kells Tech Hub will offer start-ups and SMEs a space to innovate and collaborate with each other as well as all the relevant agencies, universities, colleges and entrepreneurs to help them grow their businesses. It will help to connect businesses with investors and funding organisations that can help them scale.

Kells Tech Hub will also deliver several tailor-made training programmes that are relevant and industry specific to support start-ups and SMEs.

This is a hugely exciting development for Kells and Meath and will give businesses and entrepreneurs an alternative yet equally as attractive environment to Dublin from which to establish their business.
