Meath Enterprise Week 2017 in association with Ashbourne Chambers Business Breakfast

As part of Meath Enterprise Week 2017 – a weeklong series of enterprise events, workshops and seminars which took place across the county to celebrate and promote enterprise development we hosted a Business Breakfast in association with the excellent Ashbourne Chambers.

This event was held in the Pillo Hotel, Ashbourne and we were delighted to welcome a full house of local entrepreneurs and business people to celebrate and promote enterprise development in Meath.

Speakers for the morning were Eoighan Riardan of Tadgh Riordan Motors and Gary O’Meara – General Manager Meath Enterprise and Boyne Valley Food Innovation District.

Before we kicked off the presentations we enjoyed a lovely breakfast allowing for some introductions and networking.

Eoighan then took us through the latest developments in Hybrid vehicles from Toyata and shared with us some very interesting statistics on diesel engines and future projections for the adoption of hybrid engines.

We then got an opportunity to learn all about the Boyne Valley Food Innovation District, a hugely exciting project being developed by Gary O’Meara along with several strategic partners. This project centres around finding opportunities for Irish Food Companies in new markets, creating channels to these channels and scaling Food Companies to fulfil the contracts. It is an incredibly exciting project for the county and one to watch out for!

We wish to say a huge thank you to all attendees who supported this event and especially to Joe Gilitiane and Sandra Jameson of Ashbourne Chamber of Commerce who organised this event. We look forward to continuing our work with Ashbourne Chamber of Commerce to promote and develop enterprise in Meath.
