Meath Enterprise Week 2019 – Local roots, Global focus.

The eyes of the entrepreneurship world will be on Meath this week as Meath Enterprise Week 2019 (#MEW2019) takes place from 18-22 November.  Now in its sixth year, #MEW2019 is a national events partner with Global Entrepreneurship Week 2019 (#GEW2019) which, through its Global Entrepreneurship Network, coordinates enterprise events in over 160 countries during that same week.

Over 15 speakers, all experts in their field, will take to the stage next Thursday 21stNovember in the Kells Tech Hub for the inaugural #MEW2019 Regional Enterprise Summit for discussion and debate around the themes of Entrepreneurship and Regional Economic Development with a particular focus on innovation, collaboration and shared learning as a means of scaling your business.

As always, one of the highlights of Meath Enterprise Week is the MEW Student Enterprise Challenge which takes place in the Kells Tech Hub on 19thNovember. Aspiring young entrepreneurs from secondary schools across Meath, will yet again pitch their business ideas to the judges to be in with the chance of winning prize monies across various categories.

Also, as part of #MEW2019, the Kells Tech Hub will run an open day from 2-5pm on Monday 18thNovember where all attendees will be entered into a draw to win a FREE co-working desk and access to the fantastic facilities and services at Kells Tech for 6 months. “This is a great opportunity for a new or existing business to benefit from the amazing coworking and business training facilities at the new Kells Tech Hub which also boasts some of the fastest uncontended fibre broadband speeds in the region thanks to the generous support of Meath County Council” said Gary O’Meara
