Meath Enterprise Week #MEW2018 BNI Networking Breakfast

Day 3 of Meath Enterprise Week 2018 saw us partner with out local and very successful BNI Chapter the Royal BNI for a Business Networking Breakfast in the Newgrange Hotel, Navan. It was a very early start with proceedings kicking off at 7am sharp but well worth the early start as it was a super morning.

The BNI meets every Wednesday at this time but this morning was a bit different as it was open to visitors for Meath Enterprise Week and also a chapter from Monaghan was invited down. There was over 60 entrepreneurs in the room leading to a fantastic atmosphere. Each entrepreneur is given the opportunity to pitch their business to the room with the caveat being it can only be 45 seconds long! Not an easy feat but it was not a problem for those present and there was a fantastic variety of businesses from various sectors.

The guest speaker was John Cunningham of Epicom which are based in Meath Enterprise Centre Navan. John spoke about his own experiences in business and really opened up about how hard being an entrepreneur can be and stressed the importance of not going it alone. He also spoke about his work with EO Accelerator, which is based in Kells Tech Hub and of which Meath Enterprise is a partner of. EO Accelerator was launched this year by Entrepreneurs Organisation and for more information CLICK HERE.

Tomorrow we have our main event of #MEW2018 taking place with our #MEW2018 Business Conference & Expo in the Knightsbrook Hotel, Trim. This event features a super line up of speakers, workshops, a large business exhibition & great food! It is a FREE event and tickets are still available but you must register HERE
