Dunshaughlin to get new Enterprise Hub

Meath County Council and Meath Enterprise have confirmed their intention to develop a new enterprise hub in Dunshaughlin. This follows months of discussion and planning that will now see parts of the existing County Council building being re-developed to create a vibrant enterprise space that will support and promote a culture of entrepreneurship in Dunshaughlin.

Speaking on behalf of Meath County Council Cllr Gerry O’Connor, who was instrumental in progressing the concept, said that “this will be a great addition to Dunshaughlin and will ensure that local entrepreneurs and startups will have access to modern co-working facilities and services that will support them as they seek to start or scale their businesses”

The new enterprise hub will consist of a flexible co-working area capable of supporting up to 20 entrepreneurs, meeting / office rooms for hire and an event space that will be used to deliver business training and networking events.

Gary O’Meara of Meath Enterprise said “the new Enterprise Hub in Dunshaughlin will be modelled on our new state of the art Kells Tech hub and will enable local entrepreneurs to tap into the vast resources and networks of Meath Enterprise, Meath Local Enterprise Office and more”.

According to Meath County Council Director Kevin Stewart, the new Dunshaughlin Enterprise Hub should be completed and ready for occupation before the end of 2018.

Further information of the new Dunshaughlin Enterprise Hub will be available on www.meathenterprise.ie in the coming weeks.
